SUN, SUNFLOWERS & SAND!

So everyone loves a summer wedding! The long evenings with the sun beaming down on you and not having to wear loads of layers. Yes, I can't wait for it to be summer again! What makes a summer wedding even better? One at Titchwell Manor so you can pop down to the beach for some time to soak in the day! Having the beach just a short drive away it's a great way to get some couple shots and spend some time together, it's great to take moments like these in. The day goes by so quickly and you have been stressing about it for so long, so take some time out and remember it's about the two of you!

Here is Nikki and Neil's wedding day, they got married last august. It started with their engagement shoot which was amazing, they were so fun, and even though they were 'shy' in front of the camera you would never know it, they were natural's! Now Fast forward to the wedding day, and it was such a great day with all their friends and family too! They had a sunflower theme to their wedding which looked beautiful! The aisle was lined with sunflowers, the tables were filled and they even included little jars of sunflower seeds for each of the guests. A great way of spreading joy and watching 'love grow!' On each of the tables they also used shells with the guest names on them to show where people were sitting which was a cheap and quirky way to add to the theme.

String quartets have been very popular the last year as I saw them at a few weddings through the ceremony and at the reception, I love the envirnoment it creates with such lovely background music and a modern take on songs. If you are looking to have something a bit different I would highly recommend looking into this. Another little part I loved about the wedding was the table plan, if you are looking at ideas you can do yourself this is one of them. She brought a beautiful mirror and then hand-wrote the guest's names herself.

I do love an adventurous couple and so laid back too, we headed down to the beach for some golden hour shots. They brought some smoke bombs which we used on the beach, it's a great way to get you doing something fun and different. Plus I feel it ad some depth to the photos, you can choose from a whole range of colours so if you have a theme you can match! If you decide to get these to use at a venue then do double check with them first to make sure they are allowed. They have been known to stain if left in one spot.

I hope you enjoy the photos from Nikki & Neils's beautiful wedding day. Find a list of suppliers below, and a testimonial from the lovely couple at the bottom.

"Karen is amazing. We love our photos so much and can't stop looking at them. They capture the day perfectly. During our engagement shoot, she got to know us as a couple and put us at ease."
