BOHO/BARN WEDDING!

Very popular style at the moment which I LOVE! Now everyone remembers last year when we had that beautiful weather and it got just a little bit hot, in the 40's, well that was Jessica & Tim's wedding. To say it was a tad warm was an understatement, I was melting! But none the less the day was absolutely amazing!

Jessica and Tim's day was a truly magical one they decided on the traditional church ceremony and then moved over to The Red Barn afterwards for the reception. If you are looking for a stunning barn for your ceremony then look no further. With beautiful fields surrounding the grounds there are plenty of opportunities for photos. They also have a beautiful lawn just outside so if you have a lovely warm day and everyones outside then its great to hire some garden games for the guests and it's great way to keep the kids entertained too.

The red barn was decorated so beautifully inside with all the little details they had done themselves, and the work that had gone in really brought the theme together. I love the rustic style with the wooden signs and the naked cake. If you lovely people have seen one of my setups at a wedding show you will see some of the signs that Jessica has made me in the past. Lou Bear events created a beautiful table design across the venue which flowed so well. They had some huge raised flowers in the middle of each table which created a lovely centrepiece but one where you can still see and talk to everyone at the table. Also displayed around the venue were some logs which were topped with some flower displays too.

I loved the bouquet with he use of the white roses and the pampas grass, it also incorporated some dried flowers and I loved this idea! It was also continued through an amazing flower crown which she wore too. This went so well with the beautiful fairytale Dress with had so much detail and lace on the outer layer. With a long beautiful vow to go with it.

Now let's talk about the cake. A partial naked cake with real flowers sitting nicely on each layer, with the continued theme of a wooden topper worked perfectly for their wedding. Now what better way to cut the cake than with a sword! Yes, a sword. This is something I have been seeing more and more and I love it! Its a great way to get some fun shots whilst cutting the cake too.
