Rachel & Laurence - Holmewood Hall Wedding

Wow what can I say about Rachel and Laurence's special day there were so many beautiful details! Holmewood hall is such a beautiful venue and great for so many detail shots. I mean look at the room you get ready in... magnificent or what! The theme of their wedding was based on flowers, Rachel has a very successful instagram page in which she posts about working on her allotment which I believe became a real passion throughout lockdown. She gives great tips, I have followed and been learning a lot since I've been having a go at being green! With this in mind there were so many great details throughout their day focussing on the flowers from the bouquet to the ceremony hall and the tables for the reception. The favours and table names on each table were all made by Rachel from her garden a great way to include your hobby into your wedding!

From the relaxing morning at Holmewood hall getting ready with the bridesmaids everyone was in such great spirits. The dress was absolutely beautiful! There are so many great spaces around Holmewood Hall for photography spots. The ceremony was beautiful and with the string trio playing as Rachel walked down the aisle was a great addition. Then onto the confetti shot and the drinks reception outside. The perfect opportunity to get all of the group shots you want with all your friends and family. As well as some time to relax and take in the day. The kids love the huge chess board and pieces as you will see. Then moving on to the sit down meal and the speeches. I always love hearing the speeches as it's a great opportunity to learn so much more about you both and makes being a part of your wedding even more memorable.

In to the evening it's a great opportunity for some couple shots with the beautiful evening light, and make the most of the quiet time to spend just as the two of you! Then moving into the cutting off the cake and the first dance. I love this part at Holmewood Hall as they make use of the whole staircase this gets your guests to surround you on the stairs and at the bottom so everyone has a great view and can be in the photos of the cake and first dance!
